Paul Hallman is a singer/songwriter and producer in Jacksonville, Florida. He calls his sound Southern Indie - alternative rock grit, outlaw country storytelling, and a whole lotta soul, with influences from Pixies and The Band to Otis Redding and Sturgill Simpson. 

Paul served as a guitarist, vocalist, and percussionist in the Army band, logged many miles as a truck driver around the U.S. with his dog Leia, and has been a professional chef for most of his life. These experiences often inform his lyrics, whether character-driven songs, personal confessionals, or more abstract ideas built on images and metaphor. 

Paul records, mixes, and masters his work himself and releases it through Blonde Bulldog Records, named in Leia's memory.
